Since 2004, "Beyond 50" had aired weekly on local radio stations in Portland, then moved online in November of 2007 as a podcast show on Talk Shoe, a podcasting service. It is currently syndicated over the internet through Real Simply Syndication (RSS) in over 100 podcast networks and directories (like iTunes). Listeners like being able to hear to the program at their convenience because all of the episodes are automatically archived to listen to from their computer or downloaded on an mp3 player.

Over the years, the founders of "Beyond 50" have received numerous compliments from their on-the-air guests, loyal Boomer listeners, and those in the radio industry for the show's high quality and educational value.

Hosting the show is Daniel Davis. To date, he has interviewed over five hundred best-selling authors, celebrities, experts and visionary leaders from all over the world. Daniel was inspired to name the show "Beyond 50" because it not only relates to age, but also means getting beyond halfway thinking toward solutions.

Producing the show is Joy Davis, a former Journalist, Copy Editor, and Oriental Medical practitioner. "Beyond 50" was created by Joy to become the premier talk show for Boomers nationwide. She recognized the need by many for good resources and information to deal with the challenges of midlife, from financial planning to leaving a legacy. Her intention is for the show to be a socially responsible media voice. It was also important to her that it be a source of practical and innovative ideas and solutions.
