New Moon Casting Call For Native Americans
Summit Entertainment has started pre-production and casting for the sequel to the film Twilight, based on Stephenie Meyer's second book in the series and the casting directors have announced a casting call for Native American actors.

BURBANK, CA, January 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- "Twilight," the film that drew legions of fans of Stephenie Meyer's vampire book series, is now in pre-production for the sequel "New Moon", and casting directors are seeking Native Americans to appear in the film.

In the film New Moon, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black. Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested.

Summit has now officially announced two sequels based on the second and third books, "New Moon", and also "Eclipse". Now that "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke has been replaced with director Chris Weitz, the next two installments of Stephenie Meyer's vampire book series may be filmed back to back.

Rumors of a third director for "Eclipse" have been circulating, however the the Production Company, Summit Entertainment, has not announced any plans to hire a third director in the series.
