Elias A. Avalos Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Broadcasting
Cambridge VIP Member Learns to be a Jack of All Trades
BROOKLYN, NY, February 26, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Elias A. Avalos, Production Coordinator for the Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of broadcasting.
Mr. Avalos has four years of professional experience and specializes in television programming and new acquisitions. As the production coordinator for the Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network, a broadcasting company that caters to the Hispanic population, he is responsible for organizing events, supervising crews and the editorial staff, assigning projects, enforcing deadlines, and scheduling programs. Working in a small company has its advantages, according to Mr. Avalos, who considers having the opportunity to learn different facets of the industry and be a valuable asset in numerous areas, to be the most enjoyable and gratifying aspects of his career. Prior to taking on his current position, he honed his skills as a programming assistant.
Currently enrolled at Brooklyn College, Mr. Avalos is pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Television and Radio Production. He earned his Associate of Arts in Media Production from LaGuardia Community College in 2005. He was inducted into Cambridge Who's Who as a VIP member in 2008.
