Martini in The Morning's New Music Lounge is introducing artists who are out performing, the timeless music known as the "standards" in clubs, restaurants, dinner theaters, concert halls, and street corners to new generations of music lovers.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA, March 31, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Martini in the Morning is the place to find the "cool" contemporary heart soul, and sound of the music known as the "standards". MartiniInTheMorning.com's programming sets it apart from all others as they repackage the music into a modern blend of classic recordings from Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and Tony Bennett to new recordings from Rod Stewart, Jamie Cullem, Diana Krall, Ray Charles and Michael Buble.

Martini in the Morning is committed to keeping The Greatest Songs Ever Written on the radio and gives a new face and spirit to these classic songs showcasing the versatility and how these songs are made to be interpreted and re-interpreted, with each artist that records them, doing it there own way.

The New Music Lounge is one way they introduce these timeless songs to new generations of music lovers. By introducing artists who are out performing, in clubs, restaurants, dinner theaters, concert halls and street corners - they're reminding their audience of these great songs - often leading them to go to their favorite music store to find those songs they enjoyed hearing performed live. Some of these artists have never had the opportunity to record and release their own CD. But the ones who have deserve exposure and an opportunity to introduce their recordings to our Lounge Lizards in Exile. So for the love of music, Martini in the Morning is proud to introduce you to CD releases from new artists, as well as new releases from artists you already know and love.

The New Music Lounge Featured Artist in March is Dirk Etienne.

Dirk Etienne knew by sixth grade that he wanted to sing professionally. He began performing in the 5th grade and by 20 was singing in local clubs in Hollywood. At the age of 23, Dirk opened on a national tour and performed for over 1-million fans.
